Risk Management Policy

Units in the Hotel Property Investments Trust ARSN 166 484 377 (“Trust”) are stapled to shares in Hotel Property Investments Limited (“Company”). The Company acts as responsible entity (“RE”) for the Trust. The RE considers risk management fundamental to maintaining efficient and effective operations and generating and protecting Shareholder value. For the RE, the management and oversight of risk is an ongoing process integral to the management and corporate governance of the business.

Shareholder Communication Policy

Hotel Property Investments Limited acts as responsible entity ("RE") for the Hotel Property Investments Trust (“Trust”) which has its units stapled to the shares in Hotel Property Investments Limited (“the Company”). The RE is committed to ensuring that holders of the Trust’s securities (“Securityholders”), regulators and the wider investment community are informed of all major developments affecting the Trust in a timely and effective manner. Information is communicated in a number of ways, including:

(a) annual and half-yearly reports;
(b) market disclosures in accordance with the RE’s continuous disclosure policy;
(c) updates on operations and developments;
(d) announcements on the Trust’s website (which is run by the Company);
(e) market briefings; and
(f) presentations at general meetings.

Continuous Disclosure Policy

The responsible entity’s obligations:

1.1 Units in the Hotel Property Investment Trust (“Trust”) are stapled to shares in Hotel Property Investments Limited (“Company”). The Company acts as responsible entity for the Trust (“RE”).

1.2 Australian Securities Exchange (“ASX”) Listing Rule 3.1 requires the RE to “immediately” disclose any information concerning the Trust:
(a) when the RE is, or becomes, aware of the information; and
(b) which a reasonable person would expect the information to have a material effect on the price or value of the Trust’s securities, commonly referred to as continuous disclosure obligations.
